how to book an appointment?
To book and appointment send an Instagram direct messagean or an email at booking@sisterxserpent.com including your idea, size and preferable placement or use “booking” page.
i’ve sent a booking request. how long does it take to get a reply?
Please, allow at least a few days for the artist to reply. When booking is open, all requests are processed within 2-4 days. When booking is closed you might need to wait until it becomes open again in order to get a reply to your inquiry.
how much does your work cost?
The minimum price for a tattoo at the studio is 170€. Hourly rate is 150€ per hour of work.
Smaller tattoos are charged per piece. For projects, which take more than 4 hours of work, hourly rate applies.
The rate includes tattooing and tattooing services, including, but not limited to:
Time used to work on the design, to edit or resize it in order to fit to the body;
Time used to prepare and apply tattoo stencils to the body;
Time used to assemble tattoo equipment or to replenish necessary supplies during the session;
Breaks during the appointment requested by customer;
Lateness on customer’s part;
Any touch up work needed as a result of negligent aftercare of the tattoo.
Many factors go into the price of a tattoo, including, but not limited to design, placement, and size. The final price can not be estimated beforehand. An artist is only able to give an estimated amount of hours needed for work after receiving all the details regarding future design, its size and placement on body.
do you take deposits?
Deposits are always requested for guest spot bookings and in Helsinki.
Deposits are always requested to book flash designs. Without a deposit paid a flash remains available to others interested.
You will be provided with all the details regarding deposits via online consultation.
can i refund my deposit?
Deposits are refundable ONLY in case the artist cancels your appointment and there’s no alternative time booked. In all other cases the deposit paid will not be refunded.
In cases such as when the customer:
Does not appear for a tattoo appointment;
Cancels or reschedules an appointment without giving at least 48 hours notice;
Arrives more than 30 minutes late to a tattoo appointment;
Reschedules 2 or more times for any sessions of the same tattoo;
Fails to reschedule a new appointment within 30 days of a cancelled appointment
The deposit paid will be forfeit in full and a new deposit will be required in order to schedule a new time.
what forms of payment are accepted?
Please, ask the artist which forms are currently accepted.
how old do I have to be to get tattooed?
The legal age to receive a tattoo is 18 years old. Adults of any age must present a government-issued ID (driving licence, ID card, or passport) in order to be tattooed.
Persons under 18 years old must bring their parent / legal guardian to sign a tattoo consent before the session.
do you email designs before the appointment?
No drawings and designs are shared to customers before their scheduled appointment time. All changes and adjustments are done, if needed, with the presence of a customer at a day of the appointment.
can I bring a friend?
Due to quite limited space in the studio, we ask you not to bring friends with you. If you really need someone to support you, please, ask the artist beforehand.

do I need to sign a consent before the session?
Always. You can review the document beforehand here. You will be provided with a physical copy to fill in the beginning of your appointment.
